Science & Engineering Scholar Fair
Eligibility & Rules
Urban Scholar Athletes, a Project of Community Partners, will host the 1st Annual "Science & Engineering Scholar Fair" on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. at A-MAN STEM International & Discovery Science Center.
Students in grades 1st-8th will have an opportunity to showcase their knowledge of various science & engineering topics through scientific method experimentation.
Students will compete for various sponsored prizes (1st, 2nd, 3rd Place); and recognition (Honorable Mention) in the following categories:
1st-2nd Grade Science & Eningeering
3rd-5th Grade Science & Engineering
6th-8th Grade Science & Engineering
All students in 1st-8th grade who attend schools in Los Angeles County are eligible to enter.
A student may participate in only one project. A fee of $25 per student (non-Saturday Academy-Winter Term) is required.
All projects will be judged for scientific merit using the same criteria regardless of the number of individuals preparing the project.

Bring your completed application package, along with your registration fee, to our facility, Urban Scholar Academy, 714 East Manchester Boulevard, Inglewood, CA 90301, Monday-Thursday, between the hours of 2:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Deadline is Friday, March 26th by 5 p.m.
